
Jimmy Lee 李展翹 (b.1993) is a photography lecturer, documentary photographer, and visual art practitioner with an MFA (dist.) and is currently a PhD candidate. Lee's photographic practice delves into colonial history, collective memory, and trauma. His current doctoral research at the University for the Creative Arts, partnered with the University of Arts, London, focuses on the aftermath of political conflicts in Hong Kong, cultural feelings, representation of trauma, and photographic practice. Through his work, Lee seeks to push the boundaries of documentary photography and explore new possibilities for the medium. He is dedicated to producing work that reflects his interests and concerns.
